The Union Cabinet is today expected to decide on the Telecom department's proposal to hive off the mobile tower assets of state owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to another wholly public owned subsidiary company.
BSNL owns near 65,000 mobile towers and the second largest mobile tower infrastructure.
